Mitra here.
I am an award winning audio producer, editor & sound designer who has been working professionally in podcasting since 2012 (that's before Serial happened). I am one of the original team members of The Heart, a Peabody-finalist podcast about intimacy. I’m currently a producer and sound designer for ESPN’s 30 for 30 Podcast in addition to a 2019 United States Artist fellow.

I've had the opportunity to shape and influence this growing field through honest portrayals of sex & intimacy all while putting women, queer and marginalized voices at the forefront of my practice. My production work usually transcends what the job requires, and my sound design is sometimes ethereal, sometimes energetic, sometimes light touch, sometimes mood altering, but always with virtuosic craft and care.

Over the years I have helped launch podcasts for major publications as a producer, sound designer, or consultant on everything from audio quality to idea formation to brand alignment to editorial advising on a wide range of projects. I also love speaking gigs & workshops so book me for your next event!
